Procrastination—Conquer It! By Janet Callaway | The Natural Networker

There is probably no greater destroyer of dreams, hopes and lives than procrastination. Why is it that so many of us seem to treat it as our friend rather than realize it is our enemy?

We let time slip away. We are going to do “something” to move our network marketing business forward after we have a snack, clean up our office or start the laundry. Folks, all of those things can wait. Schedule your activities and stick with your schedule.

In The Success Principles Jack Canfield recommends taking 5 action steps each day towards your goals.

If you are supposed to make 5 calls today; make them. The call is one step in the process. The longer you delay making the call, the longer it will be until you get the results you want.

How do you end up being a year behind on achieving your goals? One day at a time.

Let's face it, procrastination is self-sabotage at its finest.

Ever felt like you would never get something done or, perhaps that you will never “get” social media? Is it possible that you never truly started the task, the project or learning social media?

Signing up for Twitter and Facebook accounts is not learning and using social media to generate leads for your business. Signing a distributor application is not building a network marketing business.

Take action. As Christopher Parker says: Procrastination is like a credit card: it’s a lot of fun until you get the bill.

The price you pay for procrastination is too high. It is the death of your dreams.

  2. Once you "get over" procrastination you feel so much better; no more being mad at yourself.
