Network Marketing—What is it? By Janet Callaway | The Natural Networker

Network Marketing-- What is this business model? Even though people tend to think about network marketing as being all about “selling” products, that is not what it is at all. Network marketing is a people business; it is a relationship business. It's a business of listening and of teaching. It's about values. It's about caring about people, their incomes and their successes.

Network Marketing-- What is the core? You are the core; your belief in the company, the industry and, most importantly, yourself. It is a myth that you can sponsor a big builder and then sit back doing nothing more. If you want your networking marketing business, this people business, this relationship business to thrive, you must work hand in hand with your people on a daily basis. You must be consistent. You are the core.

Network Marketing-- How does it grow? This is a business that grows exponentially by people who listen and learn how to duplicate skills sets.

The good news is there are only 3 skills that really matter in duplication. They are inviting, presenting and following up.

If you like people and are accountable, you can be a success in network marketing. You are in charge of your business. You and you alone determine how many people you contact, how many presentations you do, how many follow up calls you make and if you use social media marketing.

Success in network marketing can give you the life of your design. You only need to do a few simple things and do them well on a consistent basis. What you need to do is easy to do yet easy not to do.
