How to Get What You Want by Janet Callaway

Here are two powerful keys to help you get what you want.

1. Admit that you want it. Seems obvious, doesn't it? However, far too many people are unwilling to acknowledge that they want something. This applies to relationships, learning new skills like marketing with social media or social networking, athletic achievements, losing weight or even building a home business or network marketing business.

If you don't admit to yourself what you want, what you dream about, what you desire, you will never have it. Instead, you will be “stuck” in your stifling job, unsatisfactory relationship and, deep inside, you will always know that you are missing out on the “more” that could be your life.

Ditch the self-denial. Admit that you want it. Go for it.

2. Is what you want worth 30 minutes of your time each day? Think about it. Would you be willing to commit 30 minutes of your time each day to building that relationship, improving a skill set, working on your fitness or whatever it is that you think you want?

If you are not willing to commit 30 minutes each day to reach your goal, whatever it may be, then perhaps that goal is not something you truly want. It may instead be something that you think you should want or that other people want for you.

Think of your goal and decide if it worth 30 minutes of your time. If the thought of achieving that goal does not motivate or energize you, then . . .

Do these 2 keys make sense to you?
